NMC2 in SRT10KRMXLI. NMC2 updated to v7.1.6

NMC2 in SRT10KRMXLI + firmware 7.1.6

First I updated NMC2 to 7.1.6.

Now firmware 7.1.6 on the SE website has been removed and the current version is 7.1.2.

What problems were found in version 7.1.6 and how can I revert to firmware 7.1.2? Is this possible and how can I downgrade? Thank you.

You need only download the correct v7.1.2 version of firmware for your system. Than follow the same steps to update the NMC.

The question is what problems if any are you seeing on v7.1.6 firmware?!? If none why are you even bothering to downgrade?? 🤦‍♂️

Firmware on any mission critical system isn’t something you just randomly update without validation and long term testing.

This doesn’t come even close to following any standard SOP / Change Order.

The UPS and additional battery modules are moved to another location.
While the UPS is not in production, there is time for installation, battery replacement, updating and testing before use. Updated the firmware to 7.1.6.
I have not noticed any problems with firmware 7.1.6 yet, there are still about 2 weeks for testing - but I don’t want to leave a potentially problematic firmware, which SE abandoned without explanation.

I wrote to support, but there is no answer.

v7.1.6. it was released a long time ago.
but disappeared a long time ago too.
No news for more than a month.

I join! Support did not answer the question about firmware 7.1.6 and potential problems with it. I still have time to downgrade while the UPS is not in production.
