Hi all,
my energy saving settings says that my computer needs to freeze after 30 minutes of inactivity.
After 30 minutes my computer go to sleep but after about 10 minutes it woke up by itself without any
user interaction...
Do you think that UPS can woke up my computer ?
Thanks...

I have tried Googling the keyword "usb device wakes up the PC" and it has returned a lot of results that you could try.

Hi,
from the sound of it this seems unlikely - unless there was a blackout in the meantime.
Could there be external devices that might have caused this?
Personally I had a Mac wake from sleep because of an external harddrive.

What about features like Wake on Lan?
What does the OS Log say?
Did you check your BIOS for settings that might allow this?
Any indications in system or software logs?

Davide,
Is the UPS the only USB device that is connected on your PC? What we did on a customer that has the same problem is we made changes on his device to not to allow it to wake up the device.
