Mac Waking From Sleep
Mac Mini, OS 10.6.8; APC Back-UPS CS 350
It appears that my UPS is waking up my Mac when I'm not around. Here's the latest Console log:
4/20/12 11:56:17 PM kernel The USB device Back-UPS CS 350 FW:805.q8.D USB FW:q8 (Port 3 of Hub at 0x4000000) may have caused a wake by issuing a remote wakeup (2)
As one can see, this event was at 11:56PM. I've also had it happen at, say, 7:01AM. I haven't changed anything in System Prefs. Also, in Syst Prefs, I have "Wake for network access" unchecked. And, Energy Saver>UPS> current charge 100%.
Any ideas on why this is happening? And, is it still true that Macs don't need PowerChute?
