Hi,i' ve connect my pc into master socket and the other peripherical to slave (monitor, external hd), but when I turn off the computer the other of peripherals remain active, what is wrong?
What is the master power button on the power strip?

Hello!
I'm new around here. Since I have questions about the aforementrioned ups model (apc back-ups es700) I thought write about it here and not start a new topic.
My problem is this:
- I bought the ups 2 days ago.
- I plug it in and let it charge for more than 16 hours (it was turned off).
- I then turn it on and try a small lamp to all sockets to see if they are ok.
- They were, so I turn it off and I plug in my pc (on master socket), next to it my screen and next to it my external HDD.
- I turn it on, does a beep and then there is a constant beep and no lights.
- I turn it off, unplug all devices and try to turn it on again bat -alas- constant beep and no lights.
- I tried it on another wall socket and no results.
- I tried to turn it on while unplugged (it was supposed to work from battery) but still: constant beep and no lights.
- I also pushed the circuit breaker (it's inside, not poped out) but still nothing.
I don't know what else to do 
What is going on?
