Hello
I just acquired a new BZ1200-BR and installed the USB drivers and software.
My PC is connected to it and running fine, HOWEVER, it says the "RMS output voltage" is around 100V instead of 115V
I'm not very sure about differences between "nominal voltage" and "effective voltage"
Just wanted to ask if that is normal or if there's any problem?
Thanks!

Nominal voltage is what the UPS expects: 115V. It will also generate that when it goes to battery.
Your actual input voltage is 127.0V. That's 12V above nominal.
It looks like the UPS decided to trim the input voltage by a fixed ~20%, bringing the output down to 104.0V. That's 11V below nominal.
Trimming suggests your input voltage is near the limits of what the UPS will pass to the equipment, and trimming keeps the output well within those limits. So if the input voltage rose to 143.75, the UPS can continue trimming 20% so that the output is 115V.

Thanks for the explanation, that's very interesting!
So just to make sure: This is OK, I don't need to worry about it, right?
(Default voltage in my country is 127V)

It sounds like your setup functions because modern equipment works across a wide range of voltages. However your UPS's nominal voltage should really be changed to 127V.
The manual (here) says the UPS supports 115, 127, and 220V nominal. Maybe check under the configuration settings for a nominal voltage setting?

That manual says my nominal input should switch automatically.
Then it's not working? 😞
There's no options in the software either.

I'd try unplugging the UPS and disconnecting the battery to reset everything. Then connect the UPS and battery and see if it switches to 127V. Otherwise you could contact APC Brazil:
