Since I've connected my Pulsar Evolution UPS to my Mac via a USB cable I keep losing my monitor profile after the monitor goes to sleep via energy savings.
I've thrown out the following stuff but it didn't help:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.AutoWake.plist and
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement.plist
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
Can anyone tell me what is causing this, please?

Those UPSes are produced by [Eaton Electrical|http://powerquality.eaton.com/Products-services/Backup-Power-UPS/Evolution.aspx?cx=101]. If you're using their software, you could ask them about the problem. It could also be a problem with MacOS itself, in which case you might want to ask a Mac Genius. You may also want to check if the UPS is involved in this issue at all by seeing if it happens when the UPS is disconnected, or when you substitute another USB device for the UPS.
