Licence change

Hi,

I have 4 ups devices and only 3 with a licence, I have removed one of the licenced ups hoping it would release the subscription assigned to it but it has not done this, any idea hope I can resole this and get the free licence reassigned ?

Given the vague description what licence are you referring to?!?!

Smart Connect? Eco Structure IT? SNMC? Other?!?!

Hi David,

The Smart Connect license is tied to the original device. As such the license can not be transferred to another system.

The only caveat to this is if the unit is / was replaced under warranty. At this point the customer must also initiate a formal request that the subscription license be transferred over to the RMA device.
