Just purchased an UPS XS 1300 - I'm new to Backup Systems
My daughter just installed a UPS on my entire computer system. I've very "green" when it comes to understanding why this is a good thing to have.
What happens when the power goes out, as it usually does in Florida, and my systems go on "suspend" mode.... How do I make sure I do everything right? What if the battery inside gets zapped?
Am I covering all my bases by registering this product with APC? How do you prove you have done everything right so that you can get the insurance that they claim they give you in case something goes wrong?
Thanks for your answers. I haven't used one of these pieces of equipment before.
