I have a PC and a Synology DS-213 that I'd like to use on a single UPS. Is there anything available that will allow me to plug both my DS and my PC into via USB to signal shutdown?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. We only offer an "interface expander" for serial communication on Smart UPS and larger UPSs. No USB expanders.
I know some SANs and NAS devices could monitor the UPS via SNMP rather than USB. Thus, if you got an APC Network Management Card in a Smart UPS for example, you could use that for managing and monitoring your UPS and for SNMP support as well as for your PC with power PowerChute Network Shutdown, or in certain instances, maybe via USB or serial at the same time as well depending on UPS model.

Thanks. I have also mentioned this feature for our next generation interface expander (but that will only work with Smart UPS and larger). I am not sure if Back UPS will ever support multiple USB connections but I can ask.
