Is there a UPS/Surge Protector that has 220V input but 110V output?

In Brazil APC is currently selling 2 UPS units that are 220V at input and 110V at output. I use two of them, the APC Back-UPS BE600N-BR launched this year and its older brother, the BE600-BR that is now phased out. There is one 1200VA unit, the Back-UPS 1200N-BR.

Brazil is one of the few countries in the world that you can find two voltage ranges for home and comercial users. It's not like in the USA or Canada that you have 120V Phase-Neutral for most of the devices and appliances and 220V Phase-Phase for havier loads like a washing machine, clothes dryer, everywhere you go in the country. Here in Brazil in some states you can only find houses that are single, two or three phase wired which is 220V (Phase-Neutral) and there is not 110 or 120V available now in other states you find houses that are single or two or three phase wired but are 110V, which is officially 127V but you can usually measure anything between 110 to 130v and at in these states 220V is also available but is like in the USA where 220V is Phase-Phase and 220V is usually used for air conditioners, electrical showers... and there are also houses that are 220V Phase-Phase only, so there is no neutral conductor available at the customer main electrical panel which I myself find very odd. The states where the system is 220V Phase-Neutral the voltage between Phase to Phase is 380V (220/380V), similar to the voltages found in Europe (230/400V).

These differences found here make things a bit more difficult for manufactures to produce UPSes, voltage regulators, surge protectors, specially for those brands from overseas, like APC. Local UPS brands chose a long time ago to make UPSes and voltage regulators that puts out 110, 115 or 120V that is also capable of working with 110-127V at the input and 220-230V putting out 110 to 120V always. APC sells in Brazil many models that are single voltage, 120V units, but there is a lack of 220V/110V and 220V only models. There is actually no 220V only Back-UPS being produced for the Brazilian market now, in the past there was one model only, a 1500VA Back-UPS RS one that are now phased out and used to have odd shapped outlets and you had to buy adapters to plug your power cords.

My house is three phase wired, 220V Phase-Neutral, and I wish I could find UPS solutions that are 220V only, the waste of power for converting 220V to 110 or 120V when this is not needed is something I really don't like, but I have to stick with it until APC or other brand comes out with a good UPS that fits my needs and is 220V only.

we have done 230/120v in the past, not sure if that will work. it is a special order product with a 3 week leadtime. via APC or a reseller, you'd be looking for a unit with "X option 167."

[here is an example - SU700X167|http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SU700X167]. that is a 700VA model but I am assuming you can order a larger VA unit if you need it.
