We are planning to get UPS to support 2 servers running ESXi. We have very basic requirements that is to shutdown down both servers during power outage. Each server is running on 750W supply. Due to tight budget we are looking at getting 2 units of BR1500GI to support the two servers, like to know whether powerchute business edition able to support this model?

Kevin,
PowerChute Business Edition in not compatible with BR1500Gi. Our recommendation is to purchase Smart-UPS for use with VMware ESXi. If that is not an option you can use APCUPSD with the Back-UPS. You will need to install VMware vMA and modify the instruction found on this VMware forum post to work with a Back-UPS via USB https://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-11482 You will also need to update the instructions to work with the latest version of VMware vMA.
