Is it okay to connect my APC BX1400U-MS to a stabilizer?

I have a BX1400U-MS. The UPS operating range is between 150 - 280 volts. The reason I'm asking this question is because my AC power source in my neighborhood is a bit unstable right now, to say the least. Undervoltage below 150 volt coupled with blackout is as normal as breathing these days, it's ridiculous, so my UPS is switching to battery mode very often, to the point the charging can't keep up, forcing a shut down. I've set the Sensitivity settings to Low.

I've filed a complaint to the electric company and they said they're going to look into it ASAP. However, knowing their average response time, it will probably take days before they can actually get here and fix the problem. That's why I'm looking for a temporary solution for this, because I need the UPS to keep my PC alive when I'm working.

So, is it okay to connect my UPS to a stabilizer so the UPS will hopefully stop switching to battery mode?

I believe you have to think as they say "out of the box" , your problem doesn't look to be fixed by connecting your UPS to a stabilizer and right now you are close to destroy your batteries with this often charge discharge cycle.

As I was looking your UPS and it seems to came with 2 batteries of 7.2 A/h. If by any chance you have to replace them, use instead the 9 A/h type which are the same size and could give you a bit more remaining time.
