In PowerChute Personal Edition is there any way to set Preserve Battery Power to more than 5 minutes?
I need to time this PC to shut down before a NAS it is using is set to shut down, but I would like it to stay active more than just 5 minutes. For instance, the NAS is configured to shut down at 30 minutes after running on its battery backup and I would like to set this PC to shut down after running for 25 minutes on its battery backup. Trying to coordinate the schedule using Keep My Computer On As Long As Possible is not really doable. Other PCs are using a CyberPower battery/backup software and that software does provide much longer than a 5 minute setting. Would be a very simply software change.
Is there a work-around where I can directly modify an INI file or registry entry to go beyone 5 minutes with PCPE ?
Thank you for reaching out to the SE Community, my name is Jon and I will assist you with this query. Unfortunately, these are the only available values/settings that can be done through PowerChute Personal Edition (PCPE).
