I have a SMART-UPS 700 and have purchased a new battery - the old one is 7 years!
I have taken off the outer metal casing but the next step is not obvious.
Anyone know where I can find instructions on how to proceed?
Thank you
George

No problem popmorgangd,
In case anyone in the future needs the instructions there are located here: http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/ASTE-6Z8L9X_R0_EN.pdf
On a side note, APC does not recommend taking the case off the UPS because it could be a potential shock hazard to the person working on it. Also, opening the case exposes the internal parts to potential damage, and void the warranty.
I hope the rest of the battery swap went well. If you have any other questions let us know.

Apologies Folks!!
The front bezel just pulls down and a plate hides the batteries.
No need to have removed the cover. Just bezel and plate.
All very embarrassing.
