How do you uninstall Powerchute on MAC

Terrible, just terrible. Never seen anything this sad.

SO....how do I get rid of the powerchute software?

P.S. Should I have to give my life story to download software and join a forum?

As Buzz said, there is no power chute software that supports the latest MAC OS X as the MAC inbuilt UPS management or native support allows the user to shutdown the system gracefully when the UPS reaches a low battery condition on battery. This [k-base|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=10498] should help you to configure the USB native support in MAC OS X. Please make sure that the PCPE software is uninstalled prior to following the k-base instructions.

In addition to Techie comments, a .dmg image of PCPE 1.3.4 for Mac have a .command script in \ for safe uninstall. it's must be run as root.
