I browsed community here, but I didn't found full step by step instructions on how to calibrate new batteries.
I'm in process of buying new batteries and I know that I need to calibrate them.
What I found here is that I need some sort of power load, like light bulbs, to be close to 30-35% of draining. But I do not have regular bulbs, just LED ones, and also only thing connected to UPS is my PC whiuch currently draws about 70 watts of power.
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but as I presumably figured out on how to calibrate new batteries is to:
1. Put new batteries into UPS.
2. Drain them completely them with 30-35% of load.
3. Charge them for about 18 hours.
4. Connect everything back (PC)
And what PowerChute Personal has to do with in meantime? Just click battery replaced or?

Well, seems that no one answered. I replaced batteries discharge them and put them in charging mode. So should UPS be turned off or on to charge them?

Hi @neXus2022
Calibrations can be done via the PowerChute Personal Edition and manually. Prior to launching the calibration on any of them, the UPS battery should be charged at 100%.
I have provided the FAQ article below to serve as a guide on how to do the calibrations, although this is for our SmartUPS unit the procedure is almost the same. Regarding the load, you can plug a different load aside from the light bulb in order to reach the 30% requirement.
