Has Anyone Returned the Non-APC Branded Battery from an APC UPS to the APC Recycling Partner

I purchased a BN450M battery for home use several years ago. When time came to replacement the battery, I discovered that the battery wasn't "consumer" replaceable.

After removing 4 screws from the bottom of the UPS, I was able to remove and replace the original battery.

Unfortunately, it isn't an APC branded battery.

At work and home, I usually ship the old APC batteries to their recycling partner.

Have anyone successfully returned a non-APC branded battery from an APC UPS via the recycling partner?

They will accept the old third party battery no worries. 👍
