Force AVR Threshold
Hi Everyone,
I just bought a BX1300LCD (Smart UPS).
In the PowerChute software, the configurable range of voltage thresholds for AVR is somewhere like 88 (min.) and 139 (max.). The 88 minimum thresholds seems to me to be essentially useless.
Does anyone know of a way to force the AVR threshold minimum up to somewhere around 115 or so? Ideally I'd like to keep the voltage range at 120 +/- 5.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Anyone else out there have ideas that could help?
Any way I might be able to fool the PowerChute (linux or windows version) software into letting me set a higher (low) threshold?
Thanks again.

I'd also like to mention that I installed the PowerChute Business for Linux and tried the init and config scripts, editing the config file, etc. to force a threshold value. All were with no luck. Thanks!

What version of Business Edition are you using? Which cable? Is it possible to hook the unit up to a Windows Machine and use Personal Edition to adjust the Low Transfer Voltage setting? Is that option available in the Agent interface for this UPS under Configuration?
Thanks.

The business version is v7.0.5 Agent for Linux.
I can connect a windows machine to the UPS and change the settings in the PowerChute (v2.0) software, but the highest, low threshold is 88 Volts. I'd like to force the low threshold to somewhere around 110 to 115 or so.
I also tried setting the LOTRANSFER value to something higher in the linux version config file and reloading, but no luck.
