Error code dCF 131

We have a APC UPS SRV3KI-E and we have attached the UPS to a NMR console. Recently, the UPS showed the error code "dCF 131" and the console that was attached to it had no current anymore. I tried to find out what this error code means but was not successful. In the manual there are other error codes described but not dCF 131. We use the UPS to make sure we absolutely never have a power cut on the console and now the UPS itself caused the power cut.

Is there anybody that can help me to find out what the error code means and how I can make sure that this does not happen again?

Thanks

Youโ€™ll need to contact APC Technical Support as to what the error code means as they do not publish them for whatever reason. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Let us know what they say and the final outcome as Iโ€™m sure the information will help the next person asking the same.

Hi Teken

They say that it is some kind of communication error. They told me to do the following steps to reset the UPS:

1. disconnect the load (all devices) from the UPS (servers/PC's may need to be shut down first)
2. Switch off the UPS - on/off button
3. disconnect the battery
4. Disconnect all cable connections from the UPS (power cable, communication cable, etc.)
5. Press the on/off button again for 10 seconds.
You may hear a beeping sound, a switching sound or nothing at all.
6. reconnect the UPS and connect it to the load as at the beginning
7. switch on the UPS

ATTENTION: Please do not skip point 5. If the on/off button is not pressed as soon as the UPS is completely de-energized, it will not be reset and the steps will serve their purpose.

=> In my case, this did not help unfortunately
