Hi community,
I use APC Back-UPS BE-850 VA and W10 OS, PowerChute Serial Shutdown v1.0.
I’m not able to get emails from PowerChute if VPN is connected. Without VPN it works.
I use smtp.google.com, TLS. VPN provider is not blocking the mail server, I can go to gmail using web browser. Tried to use direct IP addresses but it still doesn’t work.
Exception for firewall is set directly once I installed the PowerChute. What else can be wrongly set?
Getting error message from log:

The log shows that smtp.gmail.com port 587 is not available. That indicates the VPN is blocking access to the port. Have you consulted your VPN admin and have you searched online for a solution?
I did a Google search and found many posts for the issue. Example https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1200505

Yes, but they don’t provide Split Tunneling for now.
Any other ideas? Or use different SMTP provider?
