One of my ES 500 goes on battery every 2 hours
I have a Synology DS212 connected to it. Every 2-3 hours it goes on battery then returns to normal operation.
Do you have any ideas as to why?
I also have another ES500 for my other computer but not having the same issue. It is on the same electrical circuit too.
Thanks!

Hi John,
I apologize for the late reply. Upon checking your unit, the sensitivity can be adjusted through our PowerChute Personal Edition software. Once installed, you can set your UPS sensitivity to a lower setting/value.

Hello John,
When the UPS switches to battery, can you tell us how long would it be running on battery? The first thing that comes into my mind is the sensitivity setting of the UPS. The UPS that goes to battery could be set to a higher level. If you can provide the exact model number of your unit, I can look it up here on how can we adjust its sensitivity.

Hi Jonathan,
The model is BE500R. It stays on battery for only a 5 - 10 seconds then switches to back to electricity.
Thanks,
John
