Hello,
I bought a Mustek Power Must 848 but when the power fails the UPS shuts down and the RED light (fault) goes on.
I have a Tower with 6 HDs, two DVDs, 6 Fans, etc, a 24” monitor and an ASUS eeebox 202 connected to the UPS.
If I only leave the Asus eeeBox connected to the UPS + the monitor and disconnect the UPS from the main outlet,
the UPS enters battery mode, BUT if I connect my Tower to the UPS and disconnect the UPS from the Main outlet,
than the UPS shuts down and the RED light (fault) lights up.
What seems to be the problem here? Is it a “small” UPS for my Configuration?
All the best,
Ralph Nunes

what model UPS do you have? it should be located on the back or bottom of the UPS on a white sticker. we need to know this.
also, there is no fault light. from top to bottom on the Back UPS RS/XS/NS families, the LEDs are as follows:
online
on battery
overload
replace battery
i assume you mean overload. if its overload, and you hear a constant tone when this LED comes on, it indeed is being overloaded. please confirm the model and LEDs. thanks!
