Continuous beep

After a power outage my 550 batery backup keeps a continuous beep and won't stop after hours of being plugged in.  Please let me know what's wrong.

What is the exact model number of your UPS? If you provide that information we can provide a link to the user's guide that discusses each of the alarms. 

If the unit is a Back-UPS BE550G here is a link the user's guide. The alarms are discussed in section 3.
