I recently bought and installed an APC Back-UPS 1500 M2 unit, and went through the installation / set-up. When I tried to start up the computer, the power button on the computer was not working. Unplugging the computer from the UPS and re-plugging the computer into the outlet enabled starting up the computer as per usual (but without the UPS as protection / back power supply). Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hello,
Is the power on button green LED lit on the UPS? If not the UPS is not powered on and must be turned on to provide AC to the computer. If the button is lit did you check the outlet the computer was connected to with a volt meter to see if AC was present?
