powerchute plus only supports serial communications, not USB. can you clarify what cable part numbers you have and what UPS model? also, what exactly are you trying to do with the software and cable?

ok, so you need to be using the 940-0024 or 940-1524 RS-232 cable only with powerchute plus. can you specify exactly what you've done so far? what is the specific issue? also, please note powerchute plus has been discontinued for many years now and is not the current software. powerchute business edition is the current recommended software but you can still use powerchute plus even so if you'd like.

i m so interesting in APC UPS.i like it.but i do not know about this.so
powerchute business edition can u provide it to me.and any information about APC or documents i need its.

you can download powerchute business edition from here http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm - i believe when you download it you can also download the installation guide and information in addition to reviewing the compatibility chart to ensure your operating system is compatible with the software.
