Hi Deepu,
Battery Saver mode is used when the UPS is on battery. The Back-UPS will shutdown if it cannot sense power is being drawn by the connected equipment after a short period of time.
Wi-fi modems are low power consuming equipment and the UPS might not sense power being drawn by it.
We recommend that Battery Saver mode be disabled, if low power consuming equipment like a wi-fi modem is connected to the Back-UPS.
Regards,
Tom

Thanks for the reply. could you address the below points as well.
- If no load deducted, within how many minutes the UPS will be turned off.
- for a wi-fi modem of 12V which NOT in Battery Saver mode, how long it can give backup.?

Hi Deepu,
It would depend on the model of the UPS. It is usually 5 or 10 minutes. If you give me the model number of the UPS, I can check this for you.
It would depend on the wattage of the modem. Can you please provide the wattage or the model of the modem and I can check this also.
Regards,
Tom

Hi Deepu,
From the manual for the BX600C with the Battery Saver enabled:
The Back-UPS will shutdown if the connected load draws less than 30W of power for more than 5 minutes.
The average modem uses less than 20W. We do not have a calculation for a battery runtime on the BX600C that has that low of a power consumption. When there is a 50W load, the runtime will last 1 hour and 14 minutes, so with a 20W load the runtime would be even greater.
Regards,
Tom
