Before the fan used to stop, I do not see any error on the console nor is the UPS getting hot, I did call APC support and they said it's normal for the fan to run 24x7, which I thought was strange and thus started this thread. I will call again and ask for a technical support person to visit and check the UPS

hello , before that your ups didnt have the fan 24x7 on? check if your batteries are not hot , if not ,maybe you have an internal problem with the temperature sensor , that machine is in warranty , you can call your country RMA to change or repair your unit,
