I have the unit listed in the title. I came home today to find my pc had shut down into power savings mode and would not respond until I hit the power button at which point it came back to Windows XP 64 and said it had resumed from power savings mode. The problem here is Power Options in the Control Panel, I have the mode set to Always Run and and Never set for everything on AC power and Battery. I don't want it to goto Power Savings mode for any reason. I have PowerChute Personal installed. I checked it to see if any event had happen and it acted like nothing had happened. The usb cord was plugged into the unit and the pc and I checked the battery to make sure it was good. Everything is fine. So what I'm trying to figure out is, why did WinXp 64 put my pc into Power Savings mode when its not supposed to? It doesn't happen a whole lot but I would like my pc to stay on while I'm gone and not randomly do it. If something happens PowerChute can handle it and I don't lose crunch time due to a drop in power for a few seconds. Any suggestions?

I have attached screenshots of the log files and the Power Options. The last time this happened before last saturday was the previous week in the evening, I don't remember what day, I was playing WoW and it just shut down like that but there was no power outage and no reason for it to goto the battery. I figured out that one time, that the usb cord had somehow become loose so I plugged it back in. I have had the unit almost six weeks. The thing is, Powerchute reports the last outage on 5/11 but Windows reports the battery was almost gone 5/17. I checked the usb cord again to make sure the connection was good. What do you think?

Daron,
Can you screenshot and post your Power Schemes section of Control Panel please?
Have you checked the Windows Event Log to see why it reports a shutdown? If you look at the Performance section of PCPE, it should tell you any reason for any transfer to battery, in the event harmonic distortion was the cause of it.
You stated that it doesn't happen "a whole lot" but even then, shouldn't be happening at all. Is there an interval that's becoming consistent to this?
