Back-UPS XS 950U - how turn on my device after power restore.

Hello

- Model: Back-UPS XS 950U

- Serial number: 4B2023P30760

- Firmware : 925.T2.I

- Software : PC Personal Ed. 3.1.0

Can help me know  how to set it up to:

1. after a power lost ups switch off the server - it works

2. The UPS switch off itself - it works

3. after the power was return,  the UPS switch on  up and switch on the server (???)

You need to configure the server's BIOS to restart the OS when AC is restored if you need assistance with configuring the BIOS, contact the server manufacture.

I did it before I asked the question on the forum, but without effects.

Same here (BIOS configured but computer won't power up when outage ends).

New UPS and testing.

1. First tests were to make sure that the computer would gracefully power down. Yes it does, but took me a while to figure out how to disable the killpower command (which turns the UPS off, in order to keep the modem/router working as long as possible (i.e. after the workstation has powered down).

2. The power-down-on-outage / power-up when the grid is back did work as expected.

3. I just tried to verify runtime estimates, i.e. how long will the UPS keep the modem going. I've plugged back the UPS once the battery reached a couple of minutes of runtime. The computer DID NOT power on, once the UPS was connected. I am trying to understand what is going on (defective UPS, normal behavior because the battery was almost depleted, etc.)

If you gain insight, please update. This is fairly critical...
