Back-UPS XS 1500 and No USB connection

I purchased a Back-UPS XS 1500 and there is NO USB connection on it at all. Am I missing something as I only have a data-to-serial port connection that doesn't work with PowerChute Personal Edition x2.0 that came with it.

What's the serial number? I don't recall the BX series ever shipping with a Serial to RJ-45, it was always the AP9827, the USB to RJ-45 cable.
