Back - UPS RS 600 Continuous Beeping with green LED Flashing

Hi,

My Back UPS is constantly beeping with green LED flashing. I have contacted Schneider Electric for service support. After three days one engineer contacted me and asked me how is beeping happening. After listening he told me the circuit board is damaged and need to be replaced. He also suggest me to buy a new one rather than repairing the current one.

But on the manual I have found the above indication means the battery is damaged and need to be replaced.  I am getting confused. Please provide me a proper solution.
