Back-UPS Pro 1500 with "battery disconnected" error
Have been using my UPS since ~2011 without any problems; low loads, and it has only dealt with infrequent power hiccups and a few power outages. It just started reporting (via Powerchute) that the battery was disconnected, and this morning reported F07 (overheat) after failing a self-test. Will simple battery replacement solve this? (have been running on original batteries so far, and the current set looks like they have slightly expanded and were quite warm when pulled). thanks!
PS - batteries were clearly still connected, so am I correct in assuming an internal battery malfunction was cause?
