Hi,
My Back-UPS ES 550 (APC BE550G-FR) stopped working.
When I press the ON button the green led flashes a few times, then the device starts beeping continuously.
According the manual the situation looks like an overload. As there is no device plugged it should be something else.
I tried the reset procedure (disconnect any attached load, unplug the UPS from the wall socket, disconnect the UPS' internal battery, push and hold the "On" button on the UPS for 5 seconds,
reconnect internal battery, plug UPS in to power source, turn UPS on) but it didn't help.
I bought a new battery, still no change.
Is there something else I should try?
Thanks for your help.

Let me know if the Logic Reset procedure given below would resolve the issue.

Applying the Reset procedure helped a bit but the device still does not work as expected.
Now when I press the ON button the UPS stops producing the continuous tone.
If I connect an electric device to the UPS, the device works fine but once I unplug the UPS from the wall to simulate a power failure, the connected device stops working immediately and the UPS starts producing a continuous tone.
Any other suggestion?
Thanks.

Hello @t_e_d
I am sorry to hear that. It is either the battery is unable to support the load and needs to be replaced or the UPS itself is faulty.
