I have been using a back-ups BE750 for some time now. The master enable has always worked just fine.
Recently, I have unplugged the ups to move it and since then, the master enable mode will not turn on. When I press the button, it will beep (as it says it should in the manual) but the light will not turn on. I tought the light might be broken but when I turn off the master, the devices in the master controlled ports will not shut down.
I tried using the power chute software to enable it but it will not apply the settings. Once i close and reopen the software, the option is always turned off.
I tried unplugging the cells in the battery and plugging them back in - No change.
I am unsure how to handle this and could not find a similar issue in the forums and by doing a google search. Would anyone have a idea on how to resolve this ? I really enjoyed this function and would really like to be able to re-enable it.

Denis,
Unfortunately those steps are the only reset option for the Back-UPS. If the UPS is under warranty you should contact your local technical support to request a replacement.

Hi,
Try resetting the UPS
1: Disconnect any attached load.
2: Unplug the UPS from the wall socket.
3: Disconnect the UPS' internal battery.
4: Push and hold the "On" button on the UPS for 5 seconds
5: Reconnect internal battery.
6: Plug UPS in to known good power source.
7: Turn UPS on.
8: Test

Thanks for the answer 😄
I tried the steps you provided but sadly the master enable mode still won't turn on.
Is there anything else you can think of that I could try to resolved this ?
