Hi, I couldn't find an answer in the forums or the knowledgebase.
When I plug in my XS900, both yellow and green LED's light. When I unplug the unit, switch it off and then press the power button, I get power to the UPS outlets, and yellow light is on, I think batteries are fully charged. If I plug the unit in, then the green light starts to flash, I hear a relay click in sync with the green lights flashing, and power does not go to eiahther the battery outlets or the surge outlets. Any ideas what could be going on?

Sadly, it's not good. The UPS will need repairing. Since the batteries are new as of July, That's enough of a substantial investment vs. the cost of the unit to make consider having it repaired. A new one of equal quality is about $129. I am in the process of looking for a service center to take it to in my area.

They're flashing simultaneously. This happened yesterday, the unit was working fine until then. I came back to find that all the componenets hooked up to it were powered off, and the lights were flashing simultaneously.

when online and on battery flash simultaneously, this indicates an AVR relay fault. this would indicate the unit needs to be replaced even though it might work when that relay is not needed. if its in warranty, you can tell them the symptoms and try to get a replacement.
hope that helps.

I have a similar problem with the BX900. In my case, the Green (On-Line) light and Yellow (On-Battery) lights flash alternately and I can hear a relay click with each transition. Each light stays on for a few seconds before switching to the other. This seems to happen with or without a load. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
