BX1400UI external 80Ah battery

Hello Guys,

I have a BX1400UI, which I use for my PC’s. I have connected the UPS to an external deep-cycle 80 AH battery, but the UPS shuts down after around 20 minutes, though it should stay on for a couple of hours.

I wonder if there is a way to make the UPS learn the higher capacity battery, or if there is a way to override the shut down.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Khaldoon,

The battery in the BX1400UI is not user replaceable so there is no way to amend the battery details on the UPS.
