So about 10 months ago a friend of mine who had owned this UPS for ~2 years was getting rid of his home office so I got all of his stuff for free, this included. It worked great for about a month or two and then started beeping and at the time I didn't have the time to look into it.
Today I looked in the manual and tried the troubleshooting steps and looking at error codes but couldn't get it to stop.
Attached are some photos and a video of what exactly is happening instead of me trying ot explain it. It appears to be trying to use the battery power, even though it's connected to AC, and yet it knows it's connected to AC. But I don't see anything saying to replace the batteries like others have said should show up. I also believe that the batteries were replaced within the last year before I got it. Not sure if there's a way to check that, I saw no markings on the batteries when I took them out.

Just got off with support, and they said the same thing. We did a bunch of tests and determined I need a new battery. Not sure If I'll just do the trade-UPS though or get a new battery.

Hmm the video didn't seem to attach to my original post. Let me try again.
Here's a direct link if it doesn't work again.

Updating with more info. I just found a USB cable for the APC and connected it to PowerChute. PowerChute tells me the battery is dissconnected, however the battery appears to be in the APC securely. Does this just mean I need a new battery?

If the battery connections are tight it could be that the battery is dead or to low to register. Have you check the battery voltage with a voltmeter?
