Hello,
I have a BR550GI for a NAS and Firewall, and since 2014 it has been performing well. I replaced the battery some time in 2018 as the unit reported it.
A week ago, weird things started to happen: I found my NAS turned off. UPS says 0 minutes remaining. However I was still able to turn on the NAS. Took all cables off, only left power. Took out the battery, pressed the power button for 10sek, nothing happened (should?). Checked sensitivity, set to middle. Put the battery in, UPS beeps every two seconds two short beeps. Doesn't charge.
Ordered new battery. At first, the battery has shown one bar, I thought fine. Left it to charge. Next day same one bar. Connected NAS to test with the load, next days autonomous time 0min... took it off, tried above again... back at Step 0.
Is there something I can do to fix the unit or do I have to replace the UPS itself? (I would order the same unit, as it seems I now have couple of good batteries for it).

Thanks, sounds about right. I'll get the same unit, hoping that it outlasts the 3 good batteries I have now (4 including new UPS).

Hi Srdan,
It sounds like the unit itself might need to be changed, personally I would only change the batteries in a UPS like this once and change the unit the second time there is any issue but that is in no way a formal recommendation.
