BR1500G error code F02. Is repair possible?
Hello Forum,
I have 2 of my 4 BR1500G ups's giving me error message F02. I am able to power cycle them and get them to stay running for a short period of time. One has been a month and the other a few days. Theses two ups's are clearly damaged and need some repair. These are well beyond the warranty. What Im looking for are schematics of the board that has the parts that would create this error message. Also a recommendation on what parts might be problematic. The error message when looked up online says welded relays or blown fuses. Im guessing the relays are solidstate relays. Since Im able to power cycle and bring them back to life Im guessing the fuse is not likely open. Does anyone have a schematic and possibly know the part numbers and reference designators of the solidstate relays? I would like to have a little more technical info about the units, but If not Ill open the units and locate SSR, and just start crossing and replacing all the solidstate relays I find on the device. If anyone has any info that would aid in the part location and a schematic that would be great. I think this product is out of the Bay area Schneider facility that use to be MGE. This is unfortunate that I have had 2 of my units come up with the same problem. Several folks online too which makes me think this is a weak link in the Schneider design. Is this problem also on their more expensive smart UPS's? Might make me think about buying a different manufacturer in the future especially if I cant salvage these two units.
