Can anyone (from APC) tell me why I should buy one of these over the other?
As far as I can tell they are both almost identical. However the BE model has something called SVHCs (whatever that is) and the BN model does not.

Hi Jamie,
There is very little difference between the two models. The biggest difference would be that the UPS capacity on the BN650M1 is 50VA more than the BE600M1. I have added the specifications for both models below.
