I have a BN1500M2 that started failing self tests and it was due to the battery. So I bought a new battery and just replaced it and ran a self test and the same thing happened. When it switches to the battery the run time will drop and then start alarming. Its a brand new battery. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The new RBC must be allowed to recharge for a minimum of 24-72 hours. Afterwards complete the following action items in sequence:
Brain Dead: https://www.se.com/be/fr/faqs/FA158947/
Connect the unit to a computer running APC Power Chute Software which you can download a copy using this resource link:
Date: Update the battery installation date as this will reset internal counters and adjust charging tables if applicable.
Self Test: Manually initiate a self test through power chute software and let pass and wait for the RBC (Replacement Battery Cartridge) to recover to 100% SOC (State of Charge).
Calibration: Manually initiate a battery calibration if available in Power Chute software (PCPE / PCSS) with a minimum of 30% or greater load.
Allow this procedure to complete and wait for the RBC to return to 100% SOC. This step will help the system better reflect the operational runtime and health of the RBC.
Report the results once all of the action items have been completed.
