I have two machines running XP. Put BE750G backups on them in March of 2009.
One unit now unable to communicate at all with PC. We had a power outage last night and the power supply on the system was bad, We have replaced PC power supply but now no communications. Have to wonder if this unit was doing it's job last night when the power went out.
Other unit has been on and off with communications for months. Wondering about this one too.
Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance.

how do you know they arent communicating? is there an alert via APC Powerchute personal edition? if so, please elaborate on what you are seeing.
while this happens, is the UPS appearing in Device Manager within the control panel?
when you say communications arent working - this is between the PC and the UPS, correct? is the back up battery operation working normally?
we can certainly help but more information would be helpful so we can determine what the specific issue is and when it started and how we can fix it 🙂
