Hi, yesterday the ups started to emit a long continuos beep with red light not blinking.

ups has been working for 3 or 4 years like a charm, not a new installation.

i’ve tried to remove battery and perform reset: when I repluged everything back it was ok for 5 minutes but then it started to do it again (continuous beep and red light).

Notice that when it behaves like this it does it shut down pc and stuff, so I guess it’s not a battery problem but a apc problem.

When I unplug everything and the unit is unplugged and I turn it on it’s on green beeping because battery is in use, but as fast as I connect something to it it beeps and shut down.

Any suggestions? Or gotta buy a new one?
