BACK-UPS RS 800

I have this ups long time. It worked fine unitl the red light for battery came on. I replaced the battery with an original #32 battery set but after this when I start the ups the yellow light "on battery" lights up and every 1/2 minute beeps four times. Can anyone tell me what went wrong;

is the UPS connected to the wall outlet? if so, have you tried a different wall outlet? what other LEDs are lit besides on battery? if any are lit, please let us know if they are solid or flashing.

in addition, are you monitoring the UPS with any software? if so, does it report anything to you when you see this issue occur? if you are not monitoring it, is there still a USB cable attached to the UPS that is dangling off the back side of it?
