I have a Back -UPS XS 1000 (BX 1000G) and a Back UPS XS 1300 (BX 1300G). I also have PowerChute Personal Edition. Just this morning I got the message that my UPS XS 1000 was disconnected. I hadn't unplugged any of the cables nor did I disconnect the battery. PowerChute noted that I had AC power. I also noticed that the indicator below the load readout which showed battery strength was not registering. No alarm beeps indicating a problem. I DID order a replacement battery which can go into either unit. But I was wondering - did my battery die? Or should I just replace the entire unit?
