Gives the code F01 which shows "On battery overload". Turns off by itself. If it needs a battery I would gladly buy one. I just don't want to get a battery and find out it's not the problem. I should add that it now shows no estimated battery time. Before it showed some reasonable time left depending on the load. Just checked the battery and it shows 19 volts. I wrote 25.25 volts on the battery when I installed it when new. I assume that means it's a 24 volt battery? So maybe that means it's bad? Thanks for any info.

I would recommend calling tech support at 1-800-800-4272. It is of course not normal to hear a loud bang from the unit. The unit may need to be replaced.

F01 by itself means On Battery Overload Fault State which indicates the unit is overloaded. What is the current load via the display?

If the UPS isn't recognizing the battery, it may be a bad battery or a UPS. Depending on the age of the unit, you may want to replace the battery and see if it fixes the problem. If the unit is older, it may be worth doing a trade ups.

Hi,
I have the same question but my unit make two beep every 2 seconds and the message "Battery disconnected in your UPS battery backup" appear in my task bar.
On the LCD the battery bar is empty and flash On / Off.
I had this problem two days ago and I disconnected the battery for 5 min and everything works fine and the battery indiator was full. This morning, I have the same problem but I'm not able to do the same thing. The UPS don't see the battery. I test the battery on a power meter and I have 25 volt on is connector.
Could you tell me if my problem is the unit or the battery?
Thank for your help,E
