I received a pop-up message in that a self-test failed on my UPS. It said to contact APC. The UPS was beeping constantly so I shut down my computer and held the power button on the UPS. I restarted everything and it has been working fine. Do I need to be concerned about the failure? The UPS is about six months old.

I had the same pop-up dialog this morning when I started work. Then it started beeping again a couple of hours later. I couldn't shut off the beeping no matter what I did so I had to unplug it and run my computer without protection. I guess I need a warranty replacement. What do I need to do to get one?
