APC SE 500 CONTINUOUSLY BEEPING

I have here a APC SE 500, when i plug-in the AVR of my computer the UPS starts to beep but when i move the UPS to another wall outlet the beeping are gone and it works fine . what might be the problem is the battery drained? or i have a problem in my wall outlet? don't want to buy a new battery if it's not the problem. please help me 🙂 thank you and sorry for my bad english XD please understand xD

Hi,

If the unit is beeping very 30 second when plugged into that specific wall outlet then the UPS is switching to battery because it does there is an issue with the AC at that outlet. You should have an electrician check the outlet to determine the problem with the outlet.

oh okay . maybe my wall socket have a problem because when i plug another UPS in the same outlet the UPS beeps 🙂 so its the wall outlet 🙂
