My UPS intermittently, at random, changes the Display Mode. I always leave it displaying current "Power Load" in Watts. Sometimes when I look at it, it has changed to "Supply Voltage", or "Predicted Load Supply Time", the equivalent of pushing the display button. I can return it to displaying "Power Load" by pressing the same button a few times.
Apart from this the UPS behaves faultlessly; During recent multiple power cuts it behaved perfectly and even stayed displaying Load Power. It's had several new battery sets during its lifetime, since 2016? and each change has gone without incident.

If the unit is connected to a computer running APC Power Chute software. Please relay what the logs show about active faults, passed errors, and operational status.
Brain Dead: You can try the brain dead procedure to reset and clear the unit’s processor of any possible faults.
Power down and disconnect all loads. Remove AC Mains, disconnect the battery, press & hold the power button. You may hear a beep & click to confirm the process has been completed.
You may also hear nothing . . . ☝️
Reconnect the battery, apply AC Mains, turn the unit back on. Report back how the unit behaves now.
NOTE: Generally speaking active faults will always be (displayed) when present. Active faults can be AVR, building wiring faults, on battery, low battery, failed self test, loss of line power, over temperature, internal fault, relay weld, etc.

The unit is stand alone. I'll have to arrange planned downtime to try the Brain Dead procedure.
