APC Back-UPS ES 650Y-IN not detecting by the software

I am having problem with my APC Back-UPS ES 650Y-IN
the powerchute 3.0 software is not detecting my ups

when I click on the tray icon of the software the error pop up"apc powerchute is not responding"
but when I discharge my battery the battery use notification pop's up in the tray icon
the software is running in the background but I am not able to access it.
so I uninstall the powerchute and try to reinstall the software but it's showing the error that "unable to locate the apc battery connected to your computer"
I also tried different USB ports for the wire going from ups to pc but nothing working

please help guys!!!

i fixed it:D
i unistall the usb driver and upon restart, it starts working
but opwerchute v3.0 is still showing error, when i'm double clicking the tray icon,
powerchute v2.1 is working though.
